New strength for the Brabender team. On 1 February 2025, developer Leon Herbrik and consultants Thorben Rasche and Christoph Fürgut joined the Brabender team – bringing with them valuable AI expertise and hands-on experience in the logistics industry.

Leon Herbrik conducted research at the University of Bonn and worked at Siemens. His passion for machine learning shapes his everyday work. From now on, he’ll be advancing AI-supported features within the BRABENDER Logistic Suite and contributing his expertise to the development team.

Thorben Rasche and Christoph Fürgut, both from the Ulm region, strengthen our consulting team. With their deep process knowledge, they support project work directly on-site with our customers. Thorben holds a Bachelor's degree in Freight Forwarding, Transport & Logistics from the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University. Christoph completed his training as a freight forwarding specialist and earned a Bachelor’s degree from the IHK Schwaben – he is currently working towards his Master's. Both bring around seven years of industry experience to the table.

Managing Director Thomas Brabender is delighted: "Our team is growing! We urgently needed reinforcements, but industry knowledge remains a top priority for us. In our projects, we rely on practical logistics expertise – and in development, we’re thrilled to welcome fresh AI know-how. All three spent their first two weeks with us here in Unterägeri, where we also gave them a taste of true Swiss spirit during onboarding."

That means Luca Di Nisio and Arno Blom are no longer our most recent arrivals – they already joined in December. Luca has quickly found his place as a consultant and is already working successfully with clients. Arno, who brings experience from several major international companies, officially took over as CFO on 1 January 2025.
